Sadé Graves holds a Master's Degree in Social Work, an Advance certification in Child Trauma and Play Therapy attained through Jefferson University as well as continued training through certified providers of the Association of Play Therapy.
With over 10 years experience in the social work field, trained in Play Therapy, Trauma Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TFCBT), Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing Basic Level, she passionately believes that everyone has the right to gently explore, discover, resurface and emit what they need within themselves to trust, thrive and drive barriers out of their way.
Her approach is humanistic in essence while being person and child centered, primarily focusing on the integration of mindful evidence based practices/interventions or techniques like directive and indirective play therapy interventions, cognitive behavioral interventions, motivational interviewing EMDR (eye movement desensitization and reprocessing) as it fits the need of the client and their journey to maximizing their empowered self.
Working together, we will work to reinforce and build new coping skills while processing how to overcome daily challenges to attain purposeful change.
